The reduced orchestration is based on the Original 1997 Broadway Production.
This version is orchestrated to be player conducted from the keyboard and does have programming.
Keyboard 1 is the primary piano book in this orchestration but does have several additional patches throughout the show including harp, strings, harpsichord, xylophone, vibes, glock, and celeste. There is a Piano/Vocal score that is designed for the rehearsal process but the book that is used in performances is a Piano/Conductor score that has each instruments part written out with anywhere from 8-12 measures per page with small-ish print.

April 15, 1912: Titanic, the “unsinkable” ship, sinks, killing over 1500 men, women and children. In a stunning chamber musical as massive as the ocean liner that shares its name, Yeston and Peter Stone’s musical, Titanic, tells the stories of the people on board the legendary steamer and the men who got them there.
