PROGRAMMING NOTES
This orchestration is based on the Original 2015 Broadway production.
This show is orchestrated to be player-conducted from the Keyboard 2 book. There are a total of 2 keyboards in the show, both with programming.
Keyboard 1 is the primary piano book but has other patches in the programming as well that include, EP’s, Harp, Strings, and Synth Pads to name a few. This book requires a strong rhythmic player.
Keyboard 2 consists mostly of various types of keyboards such as Organ, EP’s, Harpsichord, and Clav but also has some strings and synth elements mixed in. It is not as technically demanding as some other musical theater Keyboard books but does require a strong rhythmic player familiar with jazz chops and who can lead the band while playing.
