Licensing Company: Concord Theatricals
With a hip-shaking rock ‘n’ roll score featuring hits like “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightnin’,” and “We Go Together,” Grease celebrates Rydell High’s class of 1959 in all their duck-tailed, bobby-soxed, gum-snapping glory.
This licensed production in based on the 2007 Broadway Revival production.
This show is orchestrated to be player-conducted from the Keyboard 1 book. There are two keyboard books in this show but only Key 2 has any programming.
Keyboard 1 is the conductor score and is piano only. This book is fairly easy to navigate especially if the player knows the songs well.
Keyboard 2 also has some light programming that consists mainly of electric pianos and organ but also has strings, pads, vibes, harp, percussion, and even synth brass.
