PROGRAMMING NOTES

This licensed version is an amalgamation of the 2001 National Tour productions in the US and the UK.

Despite the confusing names for both of the Keyboard books, there are actually two keyboard parts in this show, both with programming. There is a Piano/Conductor Book as well as a Key 2 book but there is also a Keyboard 2/Conductor book which is the same as K2 except with the vocal part and instrumental cues. We recommend the MD plays and conducts from the Piano/Conductor score and your other keyboard player plays from the actual Keyboard 2 book.

There are several patches in this show that range from Brass and Woodwinds to Percussion along with various types of Pianos, both acoustic and electric. There is lots to do in these books so an advanced player is needed who can navigate the parts and programming.
