Bonnie & Clyde
America’s most notorious lovers and bank robbers take the country by storm in this sexy and compelling adventure.
This licensed orchestration is based on the Original 2011 Broadway production.
This show is orchestrated to be player-conducted from the Keyboard 1 book and there are two keyboard books for this show but only Keyboard 2 has programming.
Keyboard 1/PC is meant to be played by the conductor and is piano only. It does require a proficient piano player who can play jazz, groove, and stride piano well.
Keyboard 2 is a fairly playable book compared to other Keyboard 2 books in the musical theater catalog. There is a decent amount of programming but nothing too daunting. Most of the patches are keyboard based instruments (organ, electric piano, harpsichord) as well as lots of strings and harp. This book can be played by a proficient high school student who is comfortable playing in difficult keys. It would be helpful to know basic chord notation as well since there are some chords that are not written out.
